November 7-8, 2009:
This post is primarily for the benefit of Charlie and Mary Lee, to let them know their “boy” is doing fine.
On Saturday, he walked and ran on Limantour Beach at Point Reyes National Seashore:

On Sunday, he went hiking by the San Francisco Bay at Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont:

Resting near the end of the hike:

He was a little tired out from the hike, but had enough energy once we were back in Alameda to chase a cat out of the yard (no pic of that).
September 18, 2009:
Big news for Debra and Bob. The website for their law firm, DeCarli Law, just went live. It’s at DeCarliLaw.com. It’s a work in progress; there will be changes, with more pages added over the coming weeks and months. But they’re very excited!
DeCarli Law represents individuals injured by dangerous drugs. At the moment, they’re primarily focusing on three types of cases: individuals with nephrogenic systemic fibrosis (NSF), a man-made disease caused by the gadolinium-based contrast agents used in MRIs and other types of medical scans; injuries from Yaz and Yasmin oral contraceptives (birth control pills); and kidney failure caused by oral sodium phosphate products Visicol and OsmoPrep.
March 14-24, 2009:
Charlie and Mary Lee spent ten days in Texas, visiting Linn, Glen, and Maggie. Among other things, they visited the Austin Zoo, the Salt Lick, and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. A few pictures from the trip:

Some people celebrate Valentine's Day one day early. Charlie, Mary Lee, Milton, and Jane are among them. Here they are at lunch, celebrating early to beat the rush:

AND, as promised, pictures from Charlie and Mary Lee's trip to Egypt and Jordan HERE.
February 3, 2009:
DeCarli.com is now three years old. Beyond that, the latest news is that Charlie and Mary Lee have returned safely from their trip to Egypt and Jordan. Pictures from the trip will be coming soon.
